Huset — Brand & Logotype.

Ann Haagensen, a London based restaurant manager, approached me wanting a simple logotype and brand that she could use for her side project 'Huset' - an Anglo-Danish supper club and pop-up restaurant concept. The logotype plays on the danish concept of 'hygge' (the word doesn't translate in English but is about creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people) by creating a warmth through the emphasis and closeness of 'us' within the logotype. Two contrasting typefaces combine with a strong deep blue, which allow the brand to adapt across all mediums, while retaining the 'Huset' style.
